Officers are on the hunt for two suspects. The shooter was seen fleeing towards the Food Basics in the mall, while the other culprit was last seen whizzing past the Coffee Time. Both are on foot.
The shooting occurred just after 12:30 p.m. inside the mall, near the Si Vous Play sports store, police said.
Mall employees phoned 9-1-1 reporting they heard gunshots.
The victim sustained a non-life-threatening leg injury and is being transported to hospital.
Police say he's being uncooperative.
Officers from the force's Tactical Rescue Unit are on the scene. Police have set up a perimeter around the mall and are currently searching the greenways in the area.
