The first baseman from Mississauga hit a three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning to knot the game at 3-3 and send the game into extra innings.
Unfortunately for Gotwalt’s Red Sox, the Majors added a run in the bottom of the 10th inning.
The game was scoreless for seven innings before the Majors took what appeared to be a commanding 3-0 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning.
The two teams will continue their best-of-seven series tomorrow in Brantford beginning at 8 p.m.
