A man was reportedly stabbed in the leg yesterday during a dispute at an apartment building near Westdale Mall.
Peel Regional Police responded to the Forestwood Dr. scene at about 4:30 p.m. after the victim's wife called 9-1-1 to report her husband had been stabbed.
Reports indicate the woman was walking out of the apartment complex with her husband when a man approached the victim and yelled at him before stabbing him and fleeing the scene.
The victim's injuries aren't considered life-threatening. He has been taken to hospital.
Heavily-armed tactical officers searched the apartment building, as the attacker is believed to live there.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 905-453-2121, ext. 1133.
