The car maker sold 3,942 vehicles, a 15 per cent increase over the same period last year.
In addition, Kia reports its seventh straight month of growth, bringing its year-to-date vehicles sold to 22,603, up 12 per cent over the same period last year.

Leading the sales parade for the month were Sedona (up 120 per cent), Rio (up 40 per cent), Rondo (up 35 per cent) and Magentis (up 26 per cent). Also, July marked the launch and arrival of the new 2009 Borrego.
"With the high cost of fuel, Canadians are now more then ever turning to vehicles that provide high fuel efficiency and value," said Maria Soklis, director of corporate planning and communications. "We believe that our sales success in the last several months can be attributed to Kia's portfolio of vehicles meeting the needs and expectations of consumers."
