Swedish company Sandvik Coromant, which produces tools for drilling and milling, is opening a Canadian office today in Meadowvale.
The Mississauga office will be a productivity centre, providing daily support, training programs and product demonstrations for companies specializing in metal cutting production.
The new office is located at 2550 Meadowvale Blvd.
“To see our vision of a world-class facility come to reality is truly amazing,” said Andrew Kaspar, Sandvik Coromant Canada communications manager. “The productivity centre epitomizes Sandvik Coromant's drive and dedication to superior customer service and cements our reputation as an industry leader.”
Kaspar said the centre will also offer a wide range of theory-based training courses geared towards improving quality, minimizing downtime and improving engineering competence.
