defeated Sweden 5-4 at the world hockey championships in Quebec City to
earn a gold medal date with Russia tomorrow. Mayers, who plays for the NHL’s St. Louis Blues, scored in the third
period to put Canada up 3-2.
Chinese community rallies behind quake victims
The Mississauga Chinese Business Association is setting up relief fund booths this weekend in support of the victims of Monday's massive earthquake in China. Tomorrow and Sunday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., booths will be set up at Golden Square Centre and at Yuan Ming Supermarket.
